Eleanor Moore, BRS has been an active and practicing mediator for over 25 years. As a worker in child welfare for 18 years, a counselor with Family Conciliation for 10 years and an Associate for Facilitated Solutions for 6 years, she brings a wealth of experience to working with families. Her work history includes mediation in child protection contexts, parent/teen conflicts, divorce/separation, custody and access disputes and workplace conflict. Eleanor also provides senior clinical leadership and program oversight to the Family Conciliation Services team of family mediators.
Eleanor is designated as a Mediator and a Court Appointed Evaluator for the Court of Queen’s Bench and facilitates the parent education program, For the Sake of the Children, in the public sector. She is the Vice-President with Family Mediation Canada, Past President of Family Mediation Manitoba, and a member of Family Mediation Canada and Collaborative Practice Manitoba.
As a parent coach, Eleanor provides support and assistance to parents working through the complex task of reorganizing family life to find a resolution that respects all family members and helps parents to come through this often stressful experience without compromising important family relationships.
